After-Sales Visit to a Philippine Lightweight Block Factory

Project Background

On September 9, 2026, an after-sales engineer from Guangzhou Hengde Building Technology Co., Ltd. visited a customer’s factory in the Philippines to review production after approximately 18 months of using Hengde’s cutting equipment. Alongside checking the machine’s operation and the finished blocks, the engineer will discuss adjustments to the customer’s production mix and carry out equipment maintenance.

The customer manufactures products under HAUSER ALC, a lightweight concrete wall system brand of Novitat Corp. in the Philippines. The company supplies wall products and related technical services to the local construction market.

The cooperation with Hengde began with a specific problem on the production floor. According to the customer’s feedback, the factory’s previous wire-cutting equipment frequently struggled to cut through the material and damaged the blocks during cutting. These recurring problems prompted the customer to replace the cutting equipment.

Equipment Inspection and Finished Block Review After 18 Months of Use

Customer Review Focus

The Hengde cutting machine has now been in use for around a year and a half. During this visit, the engineer went directly to the production area to inspect the equipment and finished products. Photos shared from the factory show multiple batches of blocks stacked on pallets, with some already stretch-wrapped.

The blocks in the foreground provide a clear view of their cut surfaces and edges. The engineer reported that the blocks currently being produced have a neat appearance and a good cutting finish.

The customer also has a new request: help adjusting the existing production mix.

While the initial cooperation focused on overcoming cutting difficulties, the discussion now extends to the manufacturing process. Reviewing production on site allows the engineer to understand the raw materials and operating conditions before discussing possible changes to the mix formulation. This work is still in progress; the specific adjustments and their results have yet to be confirmed.

Questions and Next Decision

The engineer will also use the visit to service the cutting machine and discuss any day-to-day operation or maintenance issues that require attention. Checking finished blocks, reviewing the production mix and maintaining the equipment are all part of addressing the factory’s current needs.

The customer and Hengde engineer marked the visit with a photo in the finished-block storage area. Their cooperation has continued well beyond the original equipment delivery. After more than a year of use, the customer is seeking further process support, and Hengde is back on site to work through the next set of production requirements.
