Project Background

This was not a quick factory visit. The client spent two days at Hengde, focusing on two key steps of the production process: material pouring and block cutting.

On the first day, the client mainly observed the pouring process. For a block production line, pouring is not just about filling the mold. The mixing condition, foam stability, slurry flow and mold forming all affect the later demolding and cutting result.

Day One: Observing the Pouring Process

During the visit, the client paid close attention to how the material was mixed, how it was poured into the mold, and whether the green body could form steadily. The client also discussed several practical questions with the Hengde team, including raw material adaptability, product size, production capacity and daily operation management.

After seeing the pouring process, the client showed strong interest in the project and returned to the factory again the next day.

On August 23, the focus moved to cutting.

For lightweight block production, cutting is one of the steps that clients care about most. After the green body is formed, the cutting result directly affects the final size, surface flatness, edge quality and later use on construction sites.

At the factory, the client watched the cutting equipment in operation and checked the finished block effect on site. Compared with only hearing a technical explanation, seeing the actual cutting result gave the client a much clearer judgment of the production process.

The two-day visit gave the client a more complete understanding of the project. The first day answered how the block is formed. The second day showed how the finished product is cut.
