Visit and Review Scope

Project Background

The customer explained that river sand is available locally and that screening equipment is already in place. The discussion therefore covered sand fineness, mud content, cement grade and raw-material cost. The HENGDE team explained that the presence of sand alone is not enough to confirm a production formula. Particle size, fineness and mud content must be assessed, and raw-material samples may be required before suitability can be confirmed.

Capacity Clarification and Curing

Customer Review Focus

The customer asked whether the stated 200 m³ output referred to one shift or a full 24-hour period. HENGDE clarified that the proposal discussed during this visit used a capacity basis of 200 m³ per shift.

Actual output must still be evaluated against the rhythm of casting, curing, demoulding, cutting and product handling. The preliminary curing period discussed during the meeting was approximately six to eight hours, and direct exposure to strong sunlight should be avoided.

Power and Electrical Conditions

Questions and Next Decision

The customer reported that the local voltage can sometimes be around 320 V and at other times close to 400 V. The discussion therefore included voltage-stabilising equipment, the electrical system and the operating conditions required by the line. Local electrical parameters must be verified before the final configuration is confirmed and incorporated into the complete electrical design rather than treated as a standard power supply.

Workshop Inspection and Live Installation Review

Workshop Inspection and Live Installation Review

The customer then entered the HENGDE workshop to inspect lightweight block production equipment and the cutting system. The team explained differences between cutting methods in speed, stability, kerf and finished-block dimensional control, and the customer examined cut block products on site.

During the visit, the customer joined a live video call with a HENGDE after-sales engineer at an equipment installation site in Ghana. The call showed the current installation progress, and the engineer explained the installation schedule and the time required for equipment installation. No fixed number of days was assigned to this customer’s project during the visit.

Additional Enquiries and Next Steps

Additional Enquiries and Next Steps

The customer also asked about equipment lead time, overseas installation guidance, the local personnel required to support installation, product packaging and future expansion.

The current project stage is Factory Review and solution assessment. The next step is to refine the equipment configuration and project plan based on the Ghana project’s raw materials, site conditions, verified power parameters and target output.
