HENGDE Signs Guyana Production-Line Upgrade from Mould-Only Forming to Precision Cutting
HENGDE signed a production-line upgrade project with a Guyana customer on April 20, 2026. The customer's existing plant primarily relies on mould-only forming, and the upgrade is intended to introduce a cutting-based process without unnecessarily rebuilding the entire factory. The project reflects a common challenge for existing producers: as product requirements become stricter, mould-only production can limit dimensional flexibility and standardisation. HENGDE reviewed the current plant, site conditions and future product plan before defining the upgrade direction.

Project Scope
The project reflects a common challenge for existing producers: as product requirements become stricter, mould-only production can limit dimensional flexibility and standardisation. HENGDE reviewed the current plant, site conditions and future product plan before defining the upgrade direction.
The retrofit will focus on the cutting section and the connections needed to integrate cutting into the existing production flow. Equipment that remains suitable can be retained, while the new process is introduced around the actual bottleneck.
Next Stage
The next stage is detailed engineering of the upgrade scope, followed by equipment preparation and implementation at the customer’s factory.
